Hatter spins the cup on the tip of his finger, then passes it over to the man. Sometime between the two hands, however, it seems the cup floated in the air, spinning as though nothing happened.
“Wonderful! You know what they say! You can never trust someone who dislikes tea!”
He places a tablecloth over a not-table between them, then sets the cream and sugar upon that. He then sips his own drink.
“But yes, yes! This place is absolutely insane!”
It did not surprise Beyond that this one wasn’t exactly human, as there was something strange going on with his name and date of death above his head. But as the dark eyes guy still was unsure if anything of this was real he didn’t really stop to question it.
Either way he bit his lip now. Should he spare some kindness here? He didn’t know anything about where he was after all, so being rude any longer and demanding wouldn’t get him anywhere, especially against strange people. Plus he woke up sore and as if he hadn’t actually gotten any sleep so he simply did not have the energy to bother being rude. So.
“Thank you,” he stated before drinking the tea.
